You’re probably wondering, how long does it take to get your video? We wish we could give you a solid answer, but since every project is different, that means every answer is different. But we can still give you an approximate answer if you keep reading (:

The best way to know what the turnaround time is for your video is to communicate with your video team. If you have a deadline you need to meet, let us know as soon as you’re aware of it, and we’ll be able to work with that.

It’s common that the turnaround time from the last production date to the time you’ll get the video is between 30 – 60 days. However, it all depends on the extent of the video. If there are a lot of moving parts to the project (lots of different productions, graphics, the length of the video) then you should expect that it will take more time, but if the video is very streamlined, then it may not even take a week for you to get your hands (or computer mouse) on your video.

An important note that you should think about is how you will be using the video. Will the video be used internally, or is it going to be used as a Facebook ad? Knowing how “big” of an impact the video is planned to have will also give you an indication of how much time should and will be spent on it. If it’s an important video, more time should be spent on it to make sure it’s planned, captured and edited in the most effective way.

The main takeaway for knowing what to expect is to simply talk to your video partner. Contact us if you have any questions!
